Please, on Monday and Tuesday wait to be collected in front of the reception desk. Dr Dave Baker will guide you to the lab space to see the sequencing room and discuss about DNA Sequencing technologies and library preparation methods.

Programme

Monday-Tuesday: Lab tour and library preparation for Illumina and Nanopore.

Thursday-Friday: Some final practicals at the computer will demonstrate how to analyse the output of sequencers (FASTQ files) with simple bioinformatics tools
